Boys Farm, Inc.
6655 SC Hwy. 34/121 Newberry, SC 29108 (803) 271-6240
View Profile >>Mission Statement or Ministry Purpose: To offer a Christian, charitable and educational home, with love, training, understanding, and guidance to meet the spiritual, as well as physical needs of boys in need of assistance.
Brief Description of Your Organization's Activities: Boys Farm is a Christian, charitable and educational children’s home. We have been working with boys from various parts of South Carolina in a residential setting for over 60 years. Boys Farm was founded in 1960 by Reverend and Mrs. W. D. Shealy, Jr. (Pop & Mama). Preparation for this work was begun many years before in Charleston, SC, where the Shealy's were owners of a large, successful ice cream business. When they felt called into Christian ministry, they sold their home and business and went off to prepare for the ministry. As the couple sought God's direction, He led them to establish a home for disadvantaged boys. They bought the current site with their own resources and began the work to which God had called them, provide a home for at-risk children. Our activities are centered around creating a family oriented home for at-risk children. Up to 8 children live in a house with a married christian couple. The house parents instill in the children good work ethic and citizenship and share the gospel through church worship and family worship. The children participate in daily chores in the house and outside to help maintain our campus. We stress the importance of good academic outcomes and the children have access to after school tutoring and a reading competition during the summer months to keep them on track academically. The children participate in weekly organized sports and exercise activities and help out with the summer gardens and farm animals. During the summer months the children participate in Christian summer camps in the mountains and the beach. We also have a strong focus on assisting the children as they turn 18 and prepare to live on their own. We have a structured program that provides shelter and support as children become adults and begin to learn to become independent.
Manner in which your organization shares the gospel of Jesus Christ: We seek to share the gospel of Jesus Christ in a multitude of ways. The houseparents are expected to exemplify Christ in their daily activities and share Christ as opportunities present themselves. Each of the houses attend weekly Sunday worship service at local churches as well as Wednesday youth Bible study. During the week, in the houses, the families participate in evening devotions and family worship. Children are encouraged to express and share their faith during these times of fellowship and worship.

BRIDGED, INC.
101 Angeline Way Simpsonville, SC 29681 (502) 500-9685
View Profile >>Mission Statement: Our mission is to provide education, resources and innovative solutions to promote awareness, connection and inclusion of people with disabilities in their communities.
Brief Description of Our Organization's Activities:
Disability Awareness Day/Week - We offer this to private Christian schools for grades K-12. Disability Awareness Day/Week is an opportunity for staff and students to learn about disability and use Scripture as a guide for developing a new perspective on how to include people with disabilities in their schools, churches, and communities.
Connection Through Christ - We offer a leadership development program for students in grades 4th-8th. This after school program uses the Bible and Jesus’ ministry as a guide to learn about leadership and disability. Each week, students are challenged to grow in their faith, develop leadership skills and use what they are learning to impact their schools, churches and communities.
Teacher Training - We offer DSS certified professional development training for teachers in private Christian schools. Teachers learn about disability, the value of inclusion of students with disabilities and are equipped with tools and strategies to create disability-inclusive and accessible classrooms and schools.
Parent Training and Support - We offer training and support for parents of children with disabilities. Our training provides parents with tools and strategies for raising a child with a disability. We also provided one-on-one support for parents navigating the challenges of raising a child with a disability.
Manner in which our organization shares the Gospel of Jesus Christ:
Our school-based programs and trainings are rooted in Scripture. We approach teaching about disability through two main ideas:
1. people with and without disabilties need access to the Gospel and church, and
2. people with and without disabilities are valuable, invited and have a God-given purpose.
Surprisingly, many believers are unaware of what Scripture says about disabilitiy and the number of stories of people with disabilities in the Bible. We challenge students and staff alike to explore both the Old and New Testaments to develop a disability theology. Through our programs and trainings, students and staff begin to recognize that a careful study of disabiliity in Scripture reveals that people with disabilities are valuable, invited and have a God-given purpose. This truth leads to additional discussion of how our modern day churches, schools and communities can be more accessible to people with disabilities so they can have access to the good news of the Gospel and be part of their local church, school and community.

Carol's Hope for Childhood Cancer, Inc.
310 Crews Dr. Spartanburg, SC 29307 (864) 978-1821
View Profile >>Mission Statement or Ministry Purpose: Carol’s Hope was founded in 2014 to provide financial assistance and emotional support to as many families as possible who are battling childhood cancer.
Brief Description of Your Organization's Activities: Carol's Hope for Childhood Cancer, Inc (CHFCC) is a registered 501(3)(c) non profit organization that raises money to help families that are battling and dealing with hardships of childhood cancer. It was founded by Carol Moeller in 2014. The majority of the funds are raised by operating four thrift stores located in Boiling Springs, Spartanburg, Easley, and Taylors, SC. Other sources of revenue are raised via fundraising events and activities, as well as traditional corporate and individual monetary solicitations. Future plans for CHFCC are to open more thrift stores throughout the upstate of South Carolina, and beyond possibly, and increase overall fundraising initiatives. CHFCC is surrounded by dedicated and compassionate employees and volunteers that have a passion for helping these cancer children and their families. A complete formal business plan deatiling the growth, expansion, and vision of CHFCC and its cause is available upon request.
Manner in which your organization shares the gospel of Jesus Christ: Carol Moeller, Founder & Executive Director of CHFCC was reading the book " A Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren in 2014 when she had an epiphany and enlightenment to become more proactive in sharing the gospel and good word of Jesus Christ. At the time she had a good friend whose child had recently been diagnosed with cancer. She saw firsthand the hardships this created for her friends family. Ordinary life suddenly became unordinary for her friend's family due to the financial impacts of cancer and also the emotional strain it inflicted on all members of the family. She decided to take action and do something about it. These two things, the book she was reading and her friends' life altering siuation, inspired her to do something good and positive in the world. CHFCC was born. A selfless act to help others in their time of need. From then on she has, and continues, to share the gospel of Jesus Christ through her and her organizations acts of selflessness. CHFCC has helped numerous families by providing financial and emotional support to help them better cope with the hardships and uncertainties of dealing with a child that has cancer. Her acts of selflessness is her way of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ. Oftentimes we worry about ourselves and our wants rather than wanting to give our time and help to others. Jesus taught us to humble ourselves and put others before oneself. As believers we must try to be a reflection of Jesus. Selflessness results in sacrificing for others and having more love for others, especially those ones in need. Carol Moeller and CHFCC spreads the word of gospel by sharing love for others and demonstrating sacrifice and selflessness for so many others to see. CHFCC is a shining star that represents teh gospel of Jesus Christ through its actions and its ministry.

Christopher's Hope Foundation
PO Box 160145 Boiling Springs, SC 29316 (864) 978-2242
View Profile >>We are Larry and Cathy Lawrence. We lost our 14 year old son Christopher to suicide on January 22, 2019. Shortly after our tragedy, we determined we would do everything in our power to help other parents and their children to not have to experience what we went through, and began a search to find a way to help.
Our search led us to Hope Squads, founded by Dr. Greg Hudnall, in Provo, Utah. Hope Squads are groups of students in a school, nominated by their peers as someone they could go to if they had a problem. Hope Squads are not trained as counselors, but become the eyes and ears of the school, looking for at risk youth due to bullying, failing grades, lonliness, signs of self-harm or suicide. They then direct the student to a counselor or mental health person.
Learn more about Hope Squads from these Youtube videos: Hope Squads NBC, or Hope Squads White Board Video; Or, visit Hopesquads.com
Our website is ChristophersHope.org
Our vision is to have Hope Squads in every middle and high school in South Carolina. We are beginning with two schools in the Boiling Springs area. Each school must have at least one Advisor, usually a school counselor, mental health person, or a teacher.
We are very excited to report that on October 9, 2020, we held an Advisor Training at High Point Academy, where 9 Advisors were trained for HPA and Boiling Springs Middle School. Both schools will begin Hope Squads this year.
Hope Squads have been shown to change the atmosphere of a school, and destigmatize the discussion of mental health, as well as saving lives.
Latest update, is that we will have at least 5 more schools beginning Hope Squads for the 2021-22 school year. Four are in District 2 of Spartanburg County, and one is in Greenville County.

ETC serves men who come from a lifestyle of chemical addiction who can’t yet thrive in outpatient (AA, NA, CR, office visits) or transitional style (halfway house) programs but instead need 24/7 supervision and training for an extended period of time. ETC focuses on helping men build meaningful relationships with Christ, themselves, and others as well as helping men build the character, integrity, skillsets, and physical and emotional wherewithal needed to thrive in next-step programs or post-program recovery.
What we do
Over the course of eight months, for approximately twenty-five hours per week of morning classroom time and evening homework, the students work through faith-based curriculum which incorporates 12-step concepts into a four-part workbook series developed from within our network of faith-based recovery programs.
For approximately twenty hours per week after daily class time, the students travel to various vocational training projects which can include painting, landscaping, fence and deck building, and other various projects. Every student also participates regularly in community service projects at other local non-profits and churches or for those in our community in need of assistance.
All class and vocational training time is conducted under the direct supervision of qualified staff and interns who build close relationships with the students and individually mentor each one through the entirety of their training and beyond.
Weekends are for family visits, marriage recovery counseling, and corporate worship. Currently, we worship together at HOPE church on John Dodd Rd. in Spartanburg.
Once the program is complete, we offer a ten-week, flexible transitional time period to help men chart wise next steps forward. They may utilize our transitional facilities as they gain fulltime employment through our network of partner employers or they may move on to other transitional facilities or return home if they have a stable and safe living environment. Additionally, they may elect to enroll in our one-year Servant Leadership Program and train as interns for the purpose of supporting the next round of men coming through the program.
Results and vision
Success, post-program, is measured by three metrics: continued sobriety, stable employment, and stable living environment. As of Jan, 2021, ETC has a measurable success rate of 88% for graduates.
The primary goal for 2021 is to start the process of building a new commercial facility which will increase ETC’s current capacity by twenty-five beds. The concurrent goal is to continue instituting a culture of continuous improvement in all aspects of our organization especially in the areas of board management, staff and intern credentialing, community partnership development, programing and technology.
The program is administered free of charge to each participant. Funding is provided through donations, grants, and income-producing vocational training projects.
Our first man entered the program in April of 2010 and is still doing great!

FACES of Total Victory

View Profile >>
FACES of Total Victory is a non-profit, non-denominational ministry designed to make a difference in the lives of Female Athletes and Coaches Engaged in Sports. Through personal relationships with the coaches and athletes and surveys taken during our team Bible Studies, we identify issues and struggles they are facing and meet those needs in an uplifting and safe environment.
OUR VISION is to see Female Athletes and Coaches Engaged in Sports experience total victory in every area of their lives. “Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:57
OUR MISSION is to equip female coaches and athletes emotionally, mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually by providing specific events and resources designed to meet those needs.
FACES of Total Victory is led by women who have a diverse and extensive background in women’s sports and a passion to see athletes and coaches experience this victory in all areas of their lives. The ministry is based on the model of Jesus in His ministry to women: Jesus valued women, always had a purpose, wanted to please the Father, spent time preparing for His ministry, loved and sought out non-believers and spent time with them, listened to their needs, and met immediate needs before beginning to address their spiritual needs in ways specific to each person.
FACES of Total Victory is designed to Educate, Encourage, Motivate, and Inspire. We achieve this goal by focusing on three main types of events:
We plan and provide Large Conferences for female athletes and coaches in three separate age divisions; Elementary School, Middle and High School, and College. These include age-appropriate breakout sessions led by professionals on topics including Self Esteem, Identity and Value, Social Media, Bullying, Peer Pressure, Anxiety, Depression, Suicide, Human Trafficking, Body Image, Eating Disorders, and Life After Sports. Our conference ends with a motivating and inspirational challenge from nationally recognized women in the sports world.
We provide Luncheons, Events, and Retreats specifically for female coaches to encourage and equip them as they lead and influence the girls they coach. This includes a “Moms Who Coach” support group.
We provide and lead Team Dynamics Development for individual teams, meeting with them and using biblical principles and resources to guide and encourage the teams.
We are very excited to be in the process of publishing the FACES of Total Victory Devotional Bible to give to all who participate in these events. This will be the first Devotional Bible with content included specifically for female athletes and coaches, as all the devotions are being written by women who competed at the professional, Olympic, or collegiate level. This will be a huge resource for the ministry, putting God’s word in the hands of literally thousands of girls and women.

Fostering the Family
215 Green Valley Rd Anderson, SC 29621 678-787-6003
View Profile >>Brief Description of Your Organization's Activities:
We ignite churches and communities to raise up foster, adoptive, and kinship families and equip them with the resources and connections they need to successfully parent the child/children in their care.
Manner in which your organization shares the gospel of Jesus Christ:
When a child enters care into a believing foster, adoptive, or kinship family, they are able to see the love of God being modeled firsthand. When that family has its church family circling around them, they are then able to reinforce the love of Jesus. One of the natural and organic relationships that follow is that the child in care comes to faith in Jesus. This is our prayer in faith, that what we are doing to take in the children of the state is giving them a forever eternal inheritance through these two avenues - a forever family and a relationship with Jesus. This will directly impact the next generation (homelessness, incarceration, and sex trafficked souls) as the church and its people arise. A relationship with Jesus is our motivating endeavor behind all that we do.

Front Porch Housing
1433 Cleveland St. Greenville, SC 29607 (864) 298-0716
View Profile >>Mission Statement or Ministry Purpose: Front Porch Housing is a two-year supportive housing program to help individuals and families move from crisis to greater self-sufficiency and experience Christ through community. Our goals are to build a firm foundation with the goals of continued sobriety, gainful employment, financial independence, continued education, dental care, and mental and physical healthcare. We recognize a housing crisis is often a crisis of connection resulting from more complex issues. We work alongside other community resources to expand our residents' support and connection. We partner with the YMCA, Miracle Hill, Jasmine Road, The Phoenix Center, Serenity Place, Self-Help Credit Union, World Relief, United Ministries, Palmetto Proactive Healthcare, and City Center Counseling. We believe and have seen that the greater the community connection, the greater opportunity for success. We desire to surround our residents with the hope of the gospel and awareness of a community that cares for them.
Brief Description of Your Organization's Activities: Our organization focuses on the crisis of connection that led to the housing crisis of each individual or family. Residents commit to a community living covenant, pay rent and a fixed utility fee, and have expectations of connection and service within our residential community. We have a diverse community of residents who are often marginalized, under-resourced, and overlooked in our culture. We offer financial literacy classes, recovery groups, Bible studies, onsite counseling, and life skills classes. We have an onsite food pantry, counseling center, basic necessity resource center, and recreation options to create new patterns of fun and engagement. Our children receive counseling options, after-school tutoring, art classes, and access to an onsite library.
Manner in which your organization shares the gospel of Jesus Christ: We share the gospel throughout our program. We share the gospel directly through our re:generation recovery groups. The gospel is clearly communicated through the first three steps of the re:gen program. We share the gospel through the disciplinary process and talk about the judgment we deserve, but grace and mercy are being provided. The gospel is communicated visually through art and scripture on site. Residents also have mentors and personal connections where the gospel is shared in conversation and life discussions. Residents commit to community living guidelines, and one of the expectations of the residents is to attend weekend worship services, in addition to their connection with Grace Church through re:generation or care groups. Quarterly worship services are held on-site to give an opportunity to share the gospel through word and song on the property and in the context of our specific community.

BE BOLD, BE BRAVE GOFORTH & RECOVER
GoForth Recovery, a non-profit organization established in 2018, is a men’s addiction recovery program and residential transitional living home for alcoholics and drug addicts. Our residential program provides housing and a structured environment that allows alcoholics and addicts to recover from a hopeless and helpless state of mind & body. Our primary goal is to enable the resident to take responsibility for their recovery and build the foundation for them to be a productive member of their community.
Residents are admitted based on their willingness to commit to a minimum of 6 months our residential recovery program. GoForth Recovery provides a safe place of support as residents take hold of their recovery, identify the root causes of their addictions and move past them to rejoin the community in a positive way.
Our Mission: Empower Individuals on their path to recovery to: Be Honest. Be Responsible. Go Forth and Recover Together Our Vision: To provide those with nothing the same level of care & services given to someone who has the ability to pay for the best treatment
At the core of our house is our recovery programs which consist of 8 hours per week of classes. These classes fall under two categories, 12 step meetings and life skills. The 12 step meetings lay the foundation for recovery. Life Skills classes cover the following topics: Making decisions, Refusal skills, Interpersonal skills, Values and responsibilities, Setting and attaining goals, Budgeting and money management, Anger Management, Education and learning and Relapse Prevention. While our focus in on recovery we also assist the residents with a church family, job placement, transportation, basic healthcare and outside counseling.
We serve Men who are at the end of the line because of their addictions. They have all used up their second chances and are homeless, helpless and jobless. Some have been incarcerated and have no place to go and includes all races, religions as well as Veterans. In 2019, 73% of our residents were considered Homeless and 25% were considered At Risk of Homelessness.
Our outreach program is focused on those that are currently homeless or at risk of becoming homeless and is designed to specifically to guide people off the street and provide them the structure, resources and support to reintegrate back into the community if they are wiling to change. To do this we have to meet them where they are at by going to the camps, detention centers, hospitals, institutions, and prisons.
Our Program’s core belief is Recovery, Responsibility and Community.
Once in recovery it is strongly encouraged that they become volunteer in the community to carry the message of hope to those still suffering. Our founders and our staff have all followed this path as well as the many volunteers we work with. In fact, this simple act of giving back is the best insurance from relapsing. As each person enters recovery the growth of our recovery community grows exponentially.

Homes for Life
PO Box 2546 Greenville, SC 29602 864-576-1719
View Profile >>Homes for Life is a safe place for young men aging out of the Department of Social Service (DSS) system. Many of these young men have lived most of their lives in group care or foster care. Just because a child reaches the age of 18, does not mean he/she is prepared for life ahead--especially when life has consisted of moving from one placement to another. The Homes for Life staff offers guidance to the young men in our care. The young men living in our facility are either in school (college), are working, or both. Staff walks through life with them as they learn independence.
Mike had been in and out of jail for several years with an incredibly extensive criminal record. His life looked lost and hopeless as he was unable to find a job and no one was willing to give him a second chance. However, under God's clear direction, the staff of Homes for Life took him in and worked hard to find Mike a job.
Surrounded by support and selflessness, Mike realized that Christ was giving him a second chance and has since turned his life around completely. By the grace of the Lord, Mike also found a job with a God-fearing man and is now working hard for the glory of his new Savior.

Once that relationship is made and their needs are met, we are able to share why we do what we do as we are captivated by the hope that Jesus offers. This process takes more time and intentionality, but we are committed to making long term relationships with the families we serve.

M&G extends its collection into communities at home and abroad through its educational and cultural outreaches that enrich the whole man—mind, heart, and soul.
Brief Description of Your Organization's Activities: The historical breadth, artistic quality, and unique religious nature of the Collection provide an encompassing survey of western civilization. Because of the collection’s focus, visitors benefit spiritually as well as educationally, culturally, and emotionally. Our internationally respected collection of Old Master paintings provides credibility to the programming we offer to students of all ages and backgrounds. For K-12, we serve thousands of students annually through our Kids Create! summer art day camp, Homeschool Days lessons, Cultural Discovery Tours, and Museum on the Move--which is about sending museum educators into classrooms (public schools primarily, but also private) in SC, GA, and NC to teach arts-integrated lessons in all the core subjects. Regardless of the counseling model chosen, one's life will only be changed through biblical integration. We want to minister to the whole person. We know that nothing changes in our lives until we change the way we think. We only recognize our need to do this as we look inward with God's perspective. At the beginning of their ministries Jesus and John the Baptist used the Greek word, "metanoia" when urging the people to "repent." The word means a change of mind or changing of how one thinks. It also has the concept of metamorphosis (transformation). In addition to mental and emotional help, we have seen salvations as well as spiritual growth and renewal.

PK Outreach
140 Halls Bridge Road Inman, SC 29349 864-592-9386
View Profile >>PK Outreach was founded by Patti Kelly in 1995. The mission of this ministry is to minister and mentor women, children and families in crisis. We meet people at their point of need and try to not only meet the immediate need, but become involved long term in working with them to become self-sufficient once again. We help re-locate families from local shelters into housing. Many of the families we work with are homeless or are living in sub-standard housing. We assist with rent, deposits and items they need to set up house in their new place. Most of the people we work with have found themselves in a crisis situation and need someone to come along beside them and show them the love of Christ and share with them that no matter what they have done, God has a plan and a purpose for their lives. We usually work long term with people because it has taken them time to get to where they are and it's never a quick fix. They need to be shown, without judging them, that someone does care. We help also with food, clothing, housing items, and other misc items they may need. We also provide Christmas sponsorship for children each year. We also give financial assistance to families for power bills, water bills and rent as our funds allow. Our goal through this ministry is to love people where they are and let them know that the Lord has a plan for them and that He loves them right where they are and so do we.

Spartanburg District One - Release Time D1RT
P. O. Box 57 Gramling, SC 29348 (864) 621-8411
View Profile >>The mission of Spartanburg District 1 Released Time is to teach District 1 public School students Biblical truth and present the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. We try to achieve the fulfillment of this mission through classes designed to teach basic Biblical truths as they relate to the lives of our students. The focus of our classes is much more than information. These classes exist for the purpose of transformation. Since the fall of 2005, District 1 Released Time has been dedicated to teaching the Bible to middle school students in each of the district's three middle schools?Mabry, Campobello-Gramling, and Landrum. During the 2011-12 school year over half of all seventh and eighth-grade students in District 1 were involved the Released Time ministry! With the addition of the high school class at Landrum High in the fall of 2009 and then Chapman High in 2010, and the addition of Bible 2 at both high schools, there have been almost 500 high school students involved in Bible education?not just once a week, but every day. The students are released from their schools and transported by District 1 Released Time to a convenient off-campus location. Since these classes are offered for credit, we use a variety of activities to obtain grades. In Bible 1, we give an overview of the entire Bible with a focus on the Old Testament and in Bible 2 we focus on the New Testament and discipleship. Of the nearly 600 students enrolled in our 5 combined programs each school year over 70 make decisions to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior! In addition many students renew their commitment to follow Christ. It is amazing and humbling to think that because of the opportunity to go into the public schools, many students are now experiencing and will continue to experience new life in Christ Jesus and a new love and appreciation for God's Word, and that these students will become Christian leaders out in the world influencing many others to come to Christ. Through this program, we are able to put God, the Bible, and prayer back into the public school system!

These people are active in community development, character formation, family enrichment, conflict resolution, counseling, and social justice.
Brief Description of Your Organization's Activities: We give scholarships to certain well-qualified students who undergo a rigorous selection process, so that they can study full-time live by video conferencing to prepare themselves to serve in the local church. Our students take 42 courses in Bible text, languages, exegesis, and ministry skills, and receive a Bachelor of Biblical Studies. They also must invest at least 10 hours per week in the local church, supervised by a local church leader and our full-time field work supervisor, Carlos Camacho, who has 38 years of successful experience in church planting and nurturing.
At the end of our intensive two-year program, our students have had 1600 hours of class instruction with academically qualified professors who between them also have hundreds of years of ministry experience. They have invested at least 1000 hours in ministry in their local churches. And they have done all this from their homes and home churches, without having to leave their families and congregations to receive training. The ability to train them literally in their homes has been a crucial advantage during the coronavirus period, because they have not lost one hour of training due to quarantines or shelter in place, though most of their countries were totally shut down.
In addition to our full time scholarship students who work by video conferencing, we offer the same courses online in video format, 24/7, and also on hard drives for those who don't have access to internet. In all, we currently have about 3800 students in 76 countries.

Water Missions International dba Water Mission
1150 Molly Greene Way, Building 1605 N. Charleston, SC 29405 843-769-7395
View Profile >>Water is essential to human life. It is the center of economic and social development and vital to maintain health, grow food, generate energy, manage the environment, and create jobs. Clean drinking water and sanitation are essential to the realization of all human rights. When people do not have access to safe drinking water and adequate sanitation, the impact on the population is devastating, leading to a global crisis. According to the World Economic Forum’s 2015 global risk report, the Global Water Crisis is now the number one global risk based on its impact on society.
Currently, 2.2 billion people around the world lack access to safe water. That’s one-third of the world’s population. According to a recent report by the World Health Organization (WHO) and United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF), more than 263 million people spent over 30 minutes round trip collecting water from an unimproved source. An estimated 4.2 billion people live without adequate sanitation, and one person dies every 37 seconds from water-related illnesses. Children are the most affected: an estimated 760,000 children under the age of five die each year from diarrheal diseases globally. Women and children spend hours walking an average of 3 miles each day collecting water that is contaminated and will likely make their families sick. The global water crisis is real and it is urgent.
Water Mission is a Christian engineering nonprofit that designs, builds, and implements safe water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) solutions for people in developing countries and disaster areas. Since 2001, Water Mission has used innovative technology and engineering expertise to provide access to safe water for more than 7 million people in 57 countries. Water Mission has over 400 staff members working around the world in permanent country programs located in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Notably, Charity Navigator has awarded Water Mission its top four-star rating for 15 consecutive years, a distinction shared by only 1% of charities rated by the organization.
Water Mission was founded in 2001 by George and Molly Greene, who at the time owned an environmental engineering and analytical firm. They decided to apply the same engineering discipline toward a non-profit endeavor focused on providing safe water and sanitation solutions for people in developing countries and disaster situations.
Water Mission was born out of the need for safe water as a result of a disaster, responding in Honduras after Hurricane Mitch. Since then, we have provided relief following some of the world’s most devastating natural and humanitarian disasters, including most recently: Texas Arctic Storms; Earthquakes in Indonesia; Hurricanes Eta and Iota in Honduras; Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas; Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico; Rohingya Refugees in Bangladesh; Cyclone Idai in Malawi and Mozambique; Earthquake and Tsunami in Indonesia; Refugees in Uganda and Tanzania; and many, many more.

The trackchair is simply an avenue to develop theconnection with the person and facilitate the meeting and interaction. At the same time, offering theservice to them for free at no cost at all to them, allows them to be receptive to hearing what I have toshare with them and it is a immediate way to show them the love of Christ through action. Being ableto be outdoors is something most able bodied people take for granted. For a disabled person in awheelchair or with mobility challenges, getting even in the grass can be a huge challenge and evenimpossible. Many were able bodied at one point before a traumatic event changed the course of theirlives. We want them to know tools are out there to make things possible and for our organization, wehave our motto being Luke 1:37, "For with God, nothing will be impossible." That message can be aray of hope and being able to get out in God's creation again can be extremely therapeutic for manyof our chair users. Psalms 19:1 says that the heavens declare the glory of God and the skies proclaimthe work of his hands... To us, it is important that people with mobility challenges are able to see andexperience that!

used market. We also share the story God has given us through any news interviews, or speakingengagements that arise.

View Profile >>The heart of our ministry includes, but is not limited to women who were sexually abused as children. It’s our desire to see a woman from any walk of life who struggles with whatever it is she’s struggling with to find that beautiful exchange that can only be found through Jesus Christ.
Simply stated, we can’t muster up enough willpower to truly forgive on our own. It’s through Christ in us that we are able to experience true freedom when we exchange our deepest hurts for His greatest grace.
To state it another way, it’s by allowing the Holy Spirit to lead us as only He can.
Those to whom we minister find it comforting to experience His healing through the sweetness of His presence as we pray through situations together.
There is no charge for the services offered by Wellspring SC at The Wellhouse. Funding comes from Wellspring Treasures Thrift Store.

View Profile >>Mission Statement or Ministry Purpose: To reach every kid with the gospel in South Carolina. To allow space for teen moms to grow in their relationship with Jesus by connecting with other teen moms in their communities and mentors that encourage growth achieved by loving, positive relationships and having some of their tangible needs met. We want to help them focus on the bigger picture, how God made them to be and how to raise the next generation to live in this world as a children of God. We are focused on the furthest out kid, the kid that may not have a lot of opportunity to see positivity in their world, the isolated kid and the over looked kid. These are our prayers for our community.
Brief Description of Your Organization's Activities: We host weekly gatherings that accommodate teen mammas and their babies. We provide meals, a safe place to gather, community and bible studies in a fun welcoming environment. We have amazing volunteers (that are background checked) to care for babies after dinner. We play games and have fun skits that show the love of Jesus. Outside of our events, we hang out with mammas and their babies at parks, meet them for coffee, take them on errands and walk out our faith with them. We share family meals with them, shed tears and help them find essentials within their community. When they need something we help them find the best ways to get it. We have a running list of counselors, pediatricians, as well as, scholarships for them or their babies to go to school.
Manner in which your organization shares the gospel of Jesus Christ: We are a Christ centered program. We teach the whole bible old testament and new. We believe in the holy trinity...father, son and holy spirit. We meet kids where they are and get to know them enough to speak in to their lives. We invest in kids with the hope of discipleship in the future.
