Mission Statement or Ministry Purpose:
Boys Farm has served families with at-risk children since 1960 as a residential children’s home in Newberry, SC. Our Mission is to offer a home exclusively for the purpose of providing a Christian, charitable, and educational home with love, training, understanding, and guidance and to meet the spiritual, as well as physical needs of boys in need of assistance.

Ministry's Activities:
By serving at-risk youth in traditional single-family homes with full-time houseparents dedicated to the training, support, and care of their household, Boys Farm continues to see the fruit of intensive parenting and the positive outcomes that flow from healthy lifestyles, structure, and security. Many of the youth we serve suffer from a lack of strong support and upstanding role models, and through our residential care model we are able to provide encouragement, support, and counsel to children who are struggling with abandonment, crisis, and family dysfunction. Placing at-risk children into the care of full-time houseparent couples who provide this level of care is transformative, helping disadvantaged youth clearly see opportunity and pathways to develop into healthy, productive, and successful members of society, leading each child we serve toward a brighter future. Boys Farm is licensed by the South Carolina Department of Social Services to have up to 32 children in our four residential cottages. We are members of the Palmetto Association for Children and Families (PAFCAF), the National Association of Christian Child and Family Agencies (NACCFA), the South Carolina Association of Nonprofit Organizations (SCANPO) and the United Way of the Midlands. Boys Farm is incredibly grateful for the long legacy of support from the Lipscomb Family Foundation, empowering us in this mission. Our programs include: Adventures in Academics Program: Boys Farm improves academic performance and overcomes deficits. Our houseparents closely monitor children’s progress in school, providing the support they need to succeed. Boys Farm partners with local schools and individuals, providing individualized tutoring to assist in any subject areas in which children need remedial support or have less than a 3.0 GPA. Agriculture & Environmental Program: Boys Farm provides children the opportunity to become more aware of the natural environment around them and the need for greater sustainability. Through learning about a variety of farming practices, children learn where their food comes from, stewardship principles, and the inputs required to bring food from farm to table. Character and Responsibility Program: Boys Farm builds character by teaching children to take pride and ownership in their work, learn money management, and find satisfaction in a job well done. This provides time for the children to be mentored and work alongside our staff to help children prepare to be productive citizens. Recreation and Athletic Program: Boys Farm promotes the physical and emotional development of children through organized and casual sports, as well as recreational activities such as camping, hiking, and fishing. The Athletic Coordinator also schedules clinics and special events. including trips to a variety of college sports events Pathways to Independence Program: Boys Farm enables and encourages our graduates to pursue higher education opportunities by providing essential framework, guidance and assistance beginning in high school and continuing through college. Our ongoing support in college and career placement, military enlistment, or independent living arrangements produces lasting positive outcomes for our residents. Reins of Hope Program: Boys Farm offers evidence-based counseling care for each of our clients including individual, group, and family counseling in conjunction with equine assisted services, helping accomplish our mission by providing top quality services and meeting the growing support needs of the population we serve.

How does your ministry directly share the Gospel of Jesus Christ?:
The Gospel is the center of all of our activity, as our identity is rooted in the image of God and the purposes of His kingdom. We know that Jesus is the one and only that can produce true and lasting life transformation and change. Each of our families that serve in this ministry are a biblical model of a husband who loves the Lord, a wife who loves the Lord, and whom love each other in a biblical and committed way. The Christian character of our houseparents is essential in modeling the hope and the promise that Jesus offers for each child who is entrusted to our care. Each household is responsible not only for the daily physical care of the boys in the program, but also the spiritual care through discipleship, mentorship, daily devotions, consistent participation in worship, and upholding biblical standards. Boys Farm is dedicated to our motto of "Building Boys rather than Mending Men" and we champion a biblical male identity, helping shape boys into the Godly men of the next generation. We receive no government funding and will continue to unashamedly hold out the Gospel truth to every child and family who is a part of this ministry.

A faith-based, 9-month transitional housing/shelter program for women in recovery and homeless women.  While at the Center women will receive addiction recovery assistance(as needed), employment and education for increasing job skills, and classes teaching various life-skills to become economically self-sufficient.  We provide a safe, loving place to heal and grown emotionally and spiritually.

Chosen Children Ministries seeks to make Christ know and bring Life-Transformation to men, women, and children in Nicaragua. Our primary focus is church planting. We currently have 26 churches in Nicaragua where we serve families who live on about $2/day. We mobilize mission teams from all over the U.S. to provide evangelism, discipleship, homes, latrines, nutrition programs, education, business development, a 3-year Bible Institute, freshwater wells, medical care, child sponsorship, and more. When mission teams are not present, our staff of over 50 in Nicaragua continues the ministry.

Elder Source Senior Ministries exists to facilitate senior ministry by distributing senior-friendly Christian resources to senior care centers, creating opportunities that encourage and edify seniors to be productive and spiritually fertile, while building partnerships with like-minded organizations, churches, and individuals that will value and honor seniors.

FACES of Total Victory is a non-profit, non-denominational ministry designed to make a difference in the lives of Female Athletes and Coaches Engaged in Sports. Through personal relationships with the coaches and athletes and surveys taken during our team Bible Studies, we identify issues and struggles they are facing and meet those needs in an uplifting and safe environment.

 

OUR VISION is to see Female Athletes and Coaches Engaged in Sports experience total victory in every area of their lives. “Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:57                                                        

 

OUR MISSION is to equip female coaches and athletes emotionally, mentally, physically, socially, and spiritually by providing specific events and resources designed to meet those needs.

 

FACES of Total Victory is led by women who have a diverse and extensive background in women’s sports and a passion to see athletes and coaches experience this victory in all areas of their lives. The ministry is based on the model of Jesus in His ministry to women: Jesus valued women, always had a purpose, wanted to please the Father, spent time preparing for His ministry, loved and sought out non-believers and spent time with them, listened to their needs, and met immediate needs before beginning to address their spiritual needs in ways specific to each person.

 

FACES of Total Victory is designed to Educate, Encourage, Motivate, and Inspire. We achieve this goal by focusing on three main types of events:

 

We plan and provide Large Conferences for female athletes and coaches in three separate age divisions; Elementary School, Middle and High School, and College. These include age-appropriate breakout sessions led by professionals on topics including Self Esteem, Identity and Value, Social Media, Bullying, Peer Pressure, Anxiety, Depression, Suicide, Human Trafficking, Body Image, Eating Disorders, and Life After Sports. Our conference ends with a motivating and inspirational challenge from nationally recognized women in the sports world.

 

We provide Luncheons, Events, and Retreats specifically for female coaches to encourage and equip them as they lead and influence the girls they coach. This includes a “Moms Who Coach” support group.

 

We provide and lead Team Dynamics Development for individual teams, meeting with them and using biblical principles and resources to guide and encourage the teams.

 

We are very excited to be in the process of publishing the FACES of Total Victory Devotional Bible to give to all who participate in these events. This will be the first Devotional Bible with content included specifically for female athletes and coaches, as all the devotions are being written by women who competed at the professional, Olympic, or collegiate level. This will be a huge resource for the ministry, putting God’s word in the hands of literally thousands of girls and women.

To show Christ-like love and support for our deployed military members by offering them a huge morale boost while they are serving overseas. This mission began in Easley, SC when my son was deployed in 2017. He came out on base wearing a Hawaiian shirt, and the soldiers laughed. He asked that I send a few to help their morale. They were in a dangerous region, and tensions were high. Once I sent his team Hawaiian shirts, each with a note of thanks in the pocket that let our heroes know we are praying for them, hundreds of other deployed American heroes reached out to be included. They needed us. People from all across America continue to send in Hawaiian shirts, and soliders continue to ask to be included. To date, we have sent 26,017 new and gently worn Hawaiian shirts to our heroes to brighten their days, to lift them up when they are at their lowest, and to let them know that we the people of America hold them in our prayers. We believe in the Bible verse that says, "Whatever you do for the lease of these, you do for Me."

Impact Sports is an interdenominational ministry whose mission is to use sports to take the Gospel to places it's never been, is not allowed, or the delivery of it has been previously ineffective. Our primary goal is to use God-given talents, abilities, and expertise in sports to gain access to lost people who are resistant to traditional means of evangelism or have never had the opportunity to hear the Truth of the Gospel message. Our secondary goal is to see other believers grow in their walk with Christ as they use their abilities for His glory and see peoples' lives impacted in return. Our desire is to help those we serve, athletes and coaches, understand their responsibility to be good stewards of their talents and to equip them to use those talents for God rather than for themselves. In essence, we want to take athletes, and we bring home missionaries.

Lighthouse for Life is a faithbased 501c3 whose mission is to raise awareness about the realities of human trafficking while restoring victims to wholeness. 

Education 

We provide free awareness and prevention presentations and trainings to any group who invites us. Examples of groups we've served include but are not limited to Churches, Youth Groups, Businesses, Law Enforcement, Medical Professionals, Firefighters, Rotary Clubs, DJJ, Mental Health Counselors, Schools, Girl Scouts, Men's Prayer Breakfasts, etc.  In our 5 years in ministry so far we've presented to over 40,000 people all across SC.

Lighthouse for Life has provided direct services to over 40 surivovrs of human trafficking. These services include networking or referals to legal assistance, counseling, medical services, transportation, housing, food, clothing, etc. 

Restoration

Lighthouse for Life is pursuing opening a safe home for females age 12-21 who are rescued from sex trafficking. This home will serve residents from all over SC. The home is located in Richland County. The home is furnished and we are debt free.

We have titled this Program Karis Home. Karis is the Greek word for grace. The core value of our ministry is "grace wins." Christ has demonstrated his grace for us by giving His life to redeem us.  Our staff will in turn demonstrate grace and love to our residents.  Karis Home is designed to be a long term restoration home that will house up to 5 survivors at a time. We will offer a trauma informed program unique designed with Individual Care Plans taylored to each resident. We will provide all necessary things for the resdients including education, counseling, medical care, etc. Karis Home is a licensed safe home with the South Carolina Department of Social Services. We are a contracted Level 3 program. We are currently hiring and training caregivers and desire to open our doors to residents as soon as possible.

Empowerment

Lighthouse for Life offers other avenues of ministry with the aim of bringing awareness and restoration to vulnerable populations in SC. We also provide resources for parents in order to equip them to make every home a safe and grace filled home. Resources can be found on our webpage to use to educate girls, boys and adults on body image, cyber bullying, online safety, pornography prevention, grooming, etc.

Mission Increase is a ministry that serves other ministries. We equip ministry leaders in biblically-based fundraising and nonprofit leadership to achieve sustainable growth for Kingdom advancement. We serve Christian nonprofits of all sizes but our specialty is helping those with budgets under $2M grow from the “seed” of an inspirational idea to a healthy, sustainable, fruit-bearing “tree,” deeply rooted in Christ and the community they serve.

The Area Director for Mission Increase – South Carolina delivers our complete program at no cost to Christian nonprofits, thanks to the generosity of local donors. We teach quarterly workshops and offer both 1-1 and group coaching to apply the principles directly to the ministry.

Our curriculum is divided into four core topics: Major Gifts, Donor Acquisition, Marketing/Communications and Ministry Leadership.

Nightlight Christian Adoptions is a full-service, Hague accredited child placement agency, licensed in ten states, CA, CO, FL, GA, IN, KY, MO, OK, SC, and TX. Nightlight's adoption programs include comprehensive international, domestic, embryo, foster care, and home study services.

Our vision for the future is to expand our foster care program to all Nightlight offices with the hopes of securing permanency for children in foster care, whether through family reunification or licensing foster families open to adoption.

Our mission is empower teens to resist drug use and make healthy lifestyle choices. We do this by providing breakthrough prevention programs that innovatively address the crisis of drug use and addiction among teens and their families.

We provide our signature prevention and intervention programming in two settings throughout Upstate SC: schools and churches. Our I RIZE program integrates its activities and services with partnering schools for the duration of an academic year to serve middle and high school students and their families. Our RIZE Above program provides select elements of the I RIZE program to teens and families in initiate cooperation with our church partners. Those I RIZE elements are enhanced by the delivery of the 10-week “Streams of Hope” family transformation program.

For both programs, we provide the support and resources to teens and families via our Community Connector for Families in Crisis. We also provide scholarships for therapeutic mental health counseling, behavioral health treatment, and equine therapy to facilitate the achievement of lasting peace and prosperity found through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In the coming years, we hope to offer our programs statewide.

Steadfast HOPE is dedicated to supporting boys & men facing mental health challenges, incarceration, drug addiction, and other issues that put them at risk. Our aim to assist these individuals in reclaiming a healthier lifestyle, enabling them to reintegrate into their families, workplaces, communities, and daily routines. Our focus is providing encouragement, equipping them with necessary skills and resources, and fostering an environment where they can enjoy a renewed sense of well-being & purpose.

How does your ministry directly share the Gospel of Jesus Christ?:
We engage with both Christian and non-Christian communities, which allows us to easily share the message of Christ. Additionally, we operate in public spaces where Christianity is not the predominant faith. When individuals, whether in public schools or correctional facilities, express their faith in Christ, I have the opportunity to share my story. I also recount the story of how Steadfast HOPE was founded, highlighting my near-death experience and how Christ Jesus sustained me throughout that time, for which I give Him all the glory.

Mission Statement or Ministry Purpose: The primary goal of TIBI is to train Hispanic men and women to make disciples of Jesus Christ, who make other disciples, who are then gathered into churches sharing that mission. These people are active in community development, character formation, family enrichment, conflict resolution, counseling, and social justice.

Brief Description of Your Organization's Activities: We give scholarships to certain well-qualified students who undergo a rigorous selection process, so that they can study full-time live by video conferencing to prepare themselves to serve in the local church. Our students take 42 courses in Bible text, languages, exegesis, and ministry skills, and receive a Bachelor of Biblical Studies. They also must invest at least 10 hours per week in the local church, supervised by a local church leader and our full-time field work supervisor, Carlos Camacho, who has 38 years of successful experience in church planting and nurturing.

At the end of our intensive two-year program, our students have had 1600 hours of class instruction with academically qualified professors who between them also have hundreds of years of ministry experience. They have invested at least 1000 hours in ministry in their local churches. And they have done all this from their homes and home churches, without having to leave their families and congregations to receive training. The ability to train them literally in their homes has been a crucial advantage during the coronavirus period, because they have not lost one hour of training due to quarantines or shelter in place, though most of their countries were totally shut down.

In addition to our full time scholarship students who work by video conferencing, we offer the same courses online in video format, 24/7, and also on hard drives for those who don't have access to internet. In all, we currently have about 3800 students in 76 countries.

Water is essential to human life.  It is the center of economic and social development and vital to maintain health, grow food, generate energy, manage the environment, and create jobs. Clean drinking water and sanitation are essential to the realization of all human rights. When people do not have access to safe drinking water and adequate sanitation, the impact on the population is devastating, leading to a global crisis. According to the World Economic Forum’s 2015 global risk report, the Global Water Crisis is now the number one global risk based on its impact on society.

Currently, 2.2 billion people around the world lack access to safe water. That’s one-third of the world’s population.  According to a recent report by the World Health Organization (WHO) and United Nations Children Fund (UNICEF), more than 263 million people spent over 30 minutes round trip collecting water from an unimproved source. An estimated 4.2 billion people live without adequate sanitation, and one person dies every 37 seconds from water-related illnesses.  Children are the most affected: an estimated 760,000 children under the age of five die each year from diarrheal diseases globally. Women and children spend hours walking an average of 3 miles each day collecting water that is contaminated and will likely make their families sick. The global water crisis is real and it is urgent.

Water Mission is a Christian engineering nonprofit that designs, builds, and implements safe water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) solutions for people in developing countries and disaster areas. Since 2001, Water Mission has used innovative technology and engineering expertise to provide access to safe water for more than 7 million people in 57 countries. Water Mission has over 400 staff members working around the world in permanent country programs located in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean.  Notably, Charity Navigator has awarded Water Mission its top four-star rating for 15 consecutive years, a distinction shared by only 1% of charities rated by the organization. 

Water Mission was founded in 2001 by George and Molly Greene, who at the time owned an environmental engineering and analytical firm. They decided to apply the same engineering discipline toward a non-profit endeavor focused on providing safe water and sanitation solutions for people in developing countries and disaster situations. 

Water Mission was born out of the need for safe water as a result of a disaster, responding in Honduras after Hurricane Mitch. Since then, we have provided relief following some of the world’s most devastating natural and humanitarian disasters, including most recently: Texas Arctic Storms; Earthquakes in Indonesia; Hurricanes Eta and Iota in Honduras; Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas; Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico; Rohingya Refugees in Bangladesh; Cyclone Idai in Malawi and Mozambique; Earthquake and Tsunami in Indonesia; Refugees in Uganda and Tanzania; and many, many more.
